The runners draw specific design cues from the archival baseball cleats from the 'Splash Pack.' The stain-like design is infused as a direct reference to the winning celebrations of pouring water or Gatorade on the coaches. The design approach stems from this commemorating concept, as the uppers appear to have been splashed with a beverage.
The AM4BSBL's uppers are specifically designed around the midfoot and heel area to support speed. The soles are attached to the uppers through a digital process and the tongue patch allows fans to unlock new digital experiences via NFC technology.
