Otafest is an all-ages festival that brings together music, games, screenings, community panels, cosplay contests, interactive demos and more. The anime-inspired event welcomes rappers, K-pop and J-pop cover bands to bring an authentic audio experience to the audience. In addition, there are many video game stations that add a more interactive element. This includes a live action Mario Kart, as well as tournaments, gaming rooms, and more.

Otafest also welcomes various exhibitors that showcase products within the art, toy and gaming industry, as well as a Sketch Drive where attendees can get their portrait drawn for charity. In addition to the fan and industry panels, as well as the many official Otafest content, the all-ages festival also welcomes the Canadian C4 qualifiers.
