The Alexis Bittar Spring/Summer 2014 campaign introduces the label's collection in an offensively playful manner. Model Ines Rau upturned her middle finger within images taken by photographer Willy Vanderperre. Given the shocking elements at play, the designer evidently aims to arrest and surprise fans.
Stylist Marie Chaix furthered the unforeseen aspects of this Bittar production. A black face veil was placed next to a leather-clad baseball cap, pieces that are seldom present within adornment advertisements.
Rings worn at the knuckles and base of fingers were also showcased. While these additions may have been anticipated, Chaix updated the standard lot with angular low-hanging earrings and screw-shaped pieces. Consequently, Rau came across as quite combative and modern.
