Attempts are being made at a Dallas hospital to aide nurses. New check-in kiosk computers are allowing them to determine which patients are most in need of urgent care. It doesn't reduce patient wait times that much but it helps a little bit. More importantly, it keeps protects the privacy of the patient. They no longer have to sit in a noisy room and explain their personal symptoms to nurses.
