This Airplane Style Desk Features an Adjustable Height

The MENSA team has just finished designing this airplane wing desk and are in the process of its fabrication. The desk is named V/STOL after the aviation term "Vertical and Short Take Off and Landing."

The V/STOL is equipped with electrically driven legs that enable to switch between stand-up and sit-down postures. The control panel has standard up and down arrows, memory for four positions that can be changed and saved at any time and a digital indicator of the current height.

The desktop is a combination of a wooden base, aluminium plates and oak inserts in the zone of arms to prevent contact with the cold metal. The desk is also equipped with two stylish "hatches" that serve as cable entries to arrange the wires.
