The Zellerfeld x Nike Air Max 1000 Black Drops in Limited Quantities

— August 7, 2025 — Fashion
Nike and Zellerfeld continue pushing sneaker innovation with the upcoming Zellerfeld x Nike Air Max 1000 “Black,” set to release August 19. The drop features a fully 3D-printed, laceless silhouette crafted using Zellerfeld’s proprietary zellerFOAM® material. Featuring sculptural textures and a standout neon green Air unit in the heel, this futuristic model reimagines the classic Air Max design in a monochrome black finish. Only a small number of pairs will be available, retailing for $185.

Originally teased in red during ComplexCon 2024, the Air Max 1000 continues its evolution with this bold all-black version. Nike’s Chief Innovation Officer described the sneaker as an intersection of control, precision, and expression — all made possible through additive manufacturing. As Nike and Zellerfeld blur the line between tech and fashion, this launch signals a new era for performance-driven, digitally fabricated footwear.
