The ADV-BOX modular truck cap by Modular Truck Gear is designed to install or remove in under 15 minutes without tools. Created by automotive designer Enrique Giner, the hard-shell system is divided into six DRTM composite panels secured with heavy-duty aluminum latches featuring dual safety locks. When disassembled, the panels store on a dedicated wall rack or dolly, reducing storage space to roughly one-quarter of the assembled footprint. The cap also incorporates gullwing side windows, removable roof panels, engineered drainage channels, and an IP56-rated commercial configuration for dust and water resistance.
The modular system weighs approximately 175 pounds and includes an integrated roof rack architecture that transfers loads directly to the truck bed rails, supporting static loads exceeding 800 pounds and dynamic loads of 400 pounds. Compatible with select Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, Chevrolet Colorado, and GMC Canyon models, the cap also supports optional MOLLE panels, crossbars, and rooftop tents.
