Commemorative Barrel-Rested Gins

Adnams Launches Limited-Edition Gin to Mark the Platinum Jubilee

Adnams, a Suffolk-based distillery specializing in sustainable spirits, is celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with the launch of a limited-edition bottle of its First Rate Gin. The exclusive expression is a London Dry gin that is made from triple grain Longshore Vodka, which is distilled with 13 botanicals to produce a sophisticated and refreshing flavor profile.

In addition, for this specific release, Adnams has matured its signature gin in American oak barrels for several weeks, adding a layer of complexity to the expression's flavor, especially considering gin is not typically aged or barrel-rested. As a result, the limited-edition First Rate Gin takes on additional notes of thyme, citrusy juniper, toasted oak, and sweet vanilla.

The new celebratory expression is limited to just 300 total bottles and will be available to purchase starting May 23.
