The adidas x National Geographic is a highly anticipated drop from the sportswear giant and the lifestyle-education brand. The collaboration sees the reimagining of the Terrex silhouette. The result is a hiking shoe that combines performance-driven materials and detailing with subtle style motifs. For instance, the silhouette is lined with GORE-TEX, making it trustworthy and secure on wet terrains. At the same time, the adidas x National Geographic Terrex Swift R3 features elegant color accents that reference "the graphic Nat Geo prints and yellow motif."

This is not the first performance footwear collaboration for National Geographic. The brand has also previously partnered with the likes of Vans and Reebok. This signals the brand's approach to further connect with its consumer base through wearable hiking and lifestyle gear.

The adidas x National Geographic collaboration will offer a total of 16 pieces. The capsule will launch on April 28th on adidas' US website, select adidas and adidas TERREX stores, as well as partner retailers worldwide.
