Kanye West and adidas have gone public regarding a new deal on a longtime partnership between the athletic brand and artist dubbed "adidas + KANYE WEST." This is the first time a deal of this magnitude has been made between a sportswear brand and someone who is not an athlete.
Kanye and adidas have collaborated before to produce the popular Yeezy line of footwear but this new partnership is going to take it one step further. The collaboration will extend past Yeezy sneakers into apparel, sportswear and the development of retail locations.
The adidas + KANYE WEST line will have a special adidas team dedicated to West to help with the development and design of future Yeezy products and creations. With the success of Yeezy's footwear line, one can anticipate an even more profitable future for this new partnership.
