The L1 Floor Lamp is a minimal lamp that gives back the space it takes up.
Integrated storage allows the L1 Floor Lamp to exist as an important part of the environment, as well as highlighting unique objects. The top of the light slides back and forth to change the amount of light in certain areas. By moving the top you are able to manipulate the environment of the room, changing it to a new context for reading or conversation. If you want to read a book, you take the book from the light and slide the top to provide you enough light for reading.
The design was created by Kyle Thacker, Sarah Fung, Maxine Kim, Paul Methot, Xavier Yee and Jesse Kim.
