Scarlett Johansson Sings Falling Down

— May 14, 2008 — Pop Culture
Scarlett Johansson as a singer? The actress belts out a song in this video called “Falling Down” from her album “Anywhere I Lay my Head” and she can sort of sing. No, she's not Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston but I think she knows that. She does not have a dominant voice and the video for the song reflects that fact. They took her voice track and added it to a vast sound scape that is rough and beautiful and allows her voice to float so to speak. I liked it.

Most of the songs were written by Tom Waits and produced by David Andrew Sitek.
