R.A.D. Brings Back Acid Athletics
R.A.D. has announced the return of Acid Athletics, its interactive fitness competition. This venture invited community members to sign up their local gym and participate in a benchmark workout consisting of ten shuttle runs, 50 all balls, ten shuttle runs, and a 50 or 30 calorie ski, running over a six-week period.
The highly anticipated Acid Athletics comeback commenced on April 12th, and the initiative is running across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. The top male and female winners and a nominated MVP member from each hosting gym will win a pair of R.A.D. training shoes.
The comeback of Acid Athletics was inevitable, given the success of the previous event, which brought approximately 140,000 participants across over 1,000 gyms worldwide. In essence, Acid Athletics transforms a typical gym workout into a global event and encourages participants to push harder, to show up, and to be part of something bigger than their own workout.
