From a distance, the Acer Aspire Ethos is pretty much like any other laptop. Sleek, thin, and lightweight are features in a laptop that most users look for. But look a little closer at this gadget and you'll find that the touchpad is actually what's most breathtaking about this piece.
Most people won't think much about the touchpad other than whether or not it's sensitive. However, the Acer Aspire Ethos's touchpad is detachable, with functions outside of navigation. When you remove the touchpad, it becomes a remote control for multimedia purposes. The orientation sensor also allows it to be used whether it's in the horizontal or vertical position. The only problem is that if you misplace it, then you could be in a bit of trouble.
Look for the Acer Aspire Ethos to hit stores around mid-June.
