The berry is known for being extremely high in vitamin C and has been used in traditional treatments for many years.
Each of Trader Joe’s two-ounce Absolutely Acerola Juice Shots contains 12 cold-pressed acerola cherries and 1010% of your daily recommended amount of vitamin C. To enjoy the Absolutely Acerola Juice Shot, Trader Joe's suggests that you simply "shoot it straight, or add it to smoothies or mixed drinks for a blast of bright, tart flavor."
