Sophisticated Tailored Lounge Chairs

Pearson Lloyd Designs the Aarea Chair for Teknion

The latest to reign from Teknion is the Aarea chair, which is designed by Pearson Lloyd and defined by its sophisticated tailored form. The lounge chair is supported by engineering similar to a task chair so that users have both the form and function of a single seat.

The project manager at Teknion, Julia La explained the chair, “Aarea’s overall design is attractive, yet still effective in terms of functionality." The Aarea comes in three styles: a work lounge chair, a casual lounge chair, and a conference chair. The team started the process of this project in 2019 with the research process. It understood how the preferences of work environments have altered drastically since the pandemic and users are looking for more simple mechanisms.
