Grippingly Geometric Cutout Editorials

The Vogue Japan A Modern Movement Photoshoot is Angular

The Vogue Japan A Modern Movement editorial is a part of the high fashion magazine's April 2014 edition. Victoria's Secret model Adriana Lima is the focal point of each image, taken for this production by photographer Tom Munro.

Munro helped bring stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele's outfits to life. Dudzeele intermingled a series of pieces that are often worn separately, including a string bikini top and athletic jogging pants. Though these items are seldom seen together, especially in a Vogue photoshoot, Lima wore them with confidence.

Together these ensembles speak to an angular, geometric motif as cut outs and open blazers reveal bits of skin in unexpected ways. The openings are well-suited to the month of April as they make way for summer.
