A Book For Two takes book clubs to a whole other level. While such gatherings revolve around a group reading the same book at the same time, this design takes that literally. It boasts a double spine in order to accommodate the use of text on mirrored sides for people to read the novel at the same time in the same room just across from each other. PSFK additionally points out that "format, typography, and content of this double-spined book are all designed to be shared between a duo."
Created by United Kingdom-based graphic designer Soofiya Chaudry, the first edition of A Book For Two is appropriately 'Jekyll and Hyde,' which echoes the theme of duality. Interestingly, A Book For Two is meant to be read out alternatingly between both parties.
