As fascinating as it is to watch a 3D printer work away, you've probably got other things to do and other places to be. With the Makerbot app, you're able to check in and see the progress of your 3D print, as seen from the camera built into the Makerbot 3D printer. With the app, users are also able to get updates, cancel, pause, access their Makerbot Cloud Library and send designs to the printer for printing.
Since a lot of the beauty of 3D printing lies in its ability to rapidly prototype, it's great to be able to keep an eye on things, especially if it's a time-consuming 3D print.
