Last night marked another historic night in the storied career of Kobe Bryant as he sank the basket that got him to 30,000 points all time. With 29 points in a 103-87 win over the New Orleans Hornets, Kobe became the 5th player in NBA history to reach 30,000 points. Kobe also became the youngest player to ever reach the mark.
Kobe broke into the NBA right after high school and has been in the league since 1996. At the time he entered the NBA, he was the youngest player to ever play in the league. Kobe's gone on to become one of the elite competitors at both ends of the floor and, with five NBA championships under his belt, is one away from matching Michael Jordan.
