Ironic Athletic Events (UPDATE)

Berlin Ironically Holds the 2nd Annual Hipster Olympics

Traditional sports aren't for everyone, which is why Berlin held their 2nd annual Hipster Olympics for the ironic rebel in you. For those who think regular athletic sports are overrated, you should join in the games.

Instead of swimming, running, gymnastics etc, the Hipster Olympics hold more interesting events. Included in these unconventional events are a skinny-jeans tug-of-war, a jute-bag race, a vinyl-spinning marathon and a horn-rimmed-glasses-throwing contest.

Over 6,000 flocked the streets to attend the event. There were only 12 teams competing this year, but next year's turnout is looking hopeful. The winning team of the Hipster Olympics was the Jam FM team who run a local radio station, according to the guardian.

Considering the size of the crowd this year, the event will surely be adding more teams and other fun events to next year's games.
