The 2012 Dodge Charger Redline Will Debut at Detroit Auto Show

Prepping for its unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show later this month, the 2012 Dodge Charger Redline is a modern muslce car with serious power under the hood. This model features a comprehensive tuning and accessories package from Mopar, Dodge's performance division.

The muscle car revival continues to grow, and the latest offering comes in the form of the 2012 Dodge Charger Redline. The car will differ from the previously released R/T models, as the Redline receives special treatment from Mopar, which specializes in racing, performance and tuning. The supercar will feature many exterior and interior upgrades, like carbon fiber spoilers, stainless steel pedal covers and aluminum shifter bezels. The most impressive upgrade package is the Stage 3, which includes super-tuned 7.0-liter V8 HEMI engine that churns out 590 horsepower and is 100 pounds lighter than the stardard 5.7-litre V8 in the R/T.
