The siphon bar may be pricey but it makes coffee in an uber cool way. Water is heated below with a halogen light, the vapours are forced up into a canister containing coffee grinds. Once removed from the heat it is that stirred to create a â€œwhirlpoolâ€ effect, siphoning the coffee back down into the pot. This process take anywhere from 45 to 90 seconds and can only be seen at the Blue Bottle CafÃ© in San Francisco, seeing how it's the only halogen-powered model in the US.
