Ancient Electric Cars

The 1905 Woods Queen Victoria Brougham Sold For $95,000

Many of us think it's completely reasonable and safe to assume that electric vehicles are some sort of completely new innovation, but this 1905 Woods Queen Victoria Brougham shows that electric vehicles have been around for longer than we think.

This vehicle is set to be auctioned for the appropriately royal sum of $94,548 at the Frederiksen auction at Ebeltoft, Denmark.

While the 1905 Woods Queen Victoria Broughame is clearly from a bygone era, it actually helps act as a window into a time when new technologies were in fact being innovated. This is a clear message to the wider auto industry that if electric vehicles were being created back in the day, there is really no reason not to innovate in electric vehicle technologies today given the clear and present need for more sustainable transportation.
