10 Welcoming Community Hubs

From See-Through Community Hubs to Community Athleisure Hubs

The necessity for welcoming community hubs has been embraced in the design of various contemporary structures, as well as in the branding strategy of some companies. The main aim of most of these examples is to create gathering spaces that celebrate connectivity and common interests.

In terms of branding strategy, UGG launched a multi-sensory pop-up titled the UGG Feel House this year. The activation was marketed as a "comfort-focused community hub to explore a sensorial and interactive environment." Gymshark, on the other hand, includes an in-house community hub in its new flagship location.

Non-branded welcoming community hubs include architectural projects like the Konishi Gaffney church-into-community center conversion and the see-through community hub in Qifeng, Taiwan which was designed by Atelier Boter.
