From obscured shadowy editorials to darkly piercing pictorials, these fierce Jan Welters photoshoots are haute, agressive and stand out. Jan Welters is a Dutch born photographer whose passion for the arts has been strong ever since he was a child.

Jan mainly focuses on fashion photography, but he has also photographed music, portraits and has been involved in many group exhibitions across the US and Europe. He has shot for international magazines including Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Liberation Next, Mixte and Double and Details.

His captures include beautiful black-and-white editorials, sweat-soaked photoshoots and colorful boho lookbooks. Jan currently resides in Paris, France where he photographs for international magazines and advertising companies. Since 2003, he has been working on a unique photography project called 'Girls in Their Superfines.'
