What is unique that's not in your bio?
I'm a life long gamer, lipstick geek, and grilled cheese enthusiast. My new found passions include eating dim sum, Mashable, DIY crafting and trend hunting. I love new technology but I'm still in love with my MiniDiscs and Super NES rpgs.
What's your favorite accomplishment?
DJing massive parties during my uni years.
How do you define cool?
Cool is colorful, inclusive and enjoyable. Everything else is just hype.
What is your secret to uncovering trends?
I'm mostly concerned about youth trends. Teen trends that stick are the trends teens love. So I watch what they do and ask them questions. Teens love to share and have their opinion heard. If they are not using it, playing it, listening to it, eating it, wearing it, creating it, it's not relevant to me.
What do you enjoy most about Trend Hunter?
To share my youth culture insights and get some use out of my Anthropology of Youth Culture masters degree.
What is your favorite trend?
Kawaii
