vivo Announced its 'X Fold' Notebook-Style Smartphone

'vivo,' the Dongguan-based global smartphone manufacturer has announced the 'vivo X Fold,' a notebook-style foldable smartphone. The vivo X Fold is the brand's first foldable smartphone, so it wanted to ensure that the phone boasted cutting-edge specifications.

The vivo X Fold has Qualcomm's 'Snapdragon 8 Gen 1' processor that features eight cores and a clock rate of 3Ghz. The phone has 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Essentially, this phone will contain the highest performance specifications of any vivo phone to date. The two screens on the notebook-style phone are 6.5-inch and 8-inch OLED screens that run at a refresh rate of 120Hz. The notebook-style folding system means the two screens fold inwards and close to face each other, similar to a book.

Lastly, the vivo X Fold will be available in three color options: crimson, orange, and blue. vivo will launch the X Fold on April 11th.
