The UNICEF Study Explores Youth Well-Being in Industrialized Nations

This infographic looks at the quality of life among adolescents in industrialized nations; the study was conducted by UNICEF. Factors that were measured include both intangible and tangible things like education, love, food, shelter, and protection.

According to this study, European nations are predominant as they rank in the top 10. Canada is ranked in the twelfth position, while the United States of America is lagging in the 19th position and the United Kingdom takes last place.

Sweden seems to be dominating the charts when it comes to the six dimensions of well-being indicators. Sweden ranked first place in terms of material well-being, health and safety and behaviors and risks. Belgium ranked the highest for education, and Italy ranked first for family and peer relationships. The Nerthlands scored the highest in subjective well-being.
