Ukrainian brand RBTNK has launched 'Jewelry and War,' a powerful art-meets-adornment project reflecting the emotional and cultural impact of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. First unveiled in Kyiv in May and now extended to Lviv, the exhibition features nine sculptural jewelry pieces --- each narrating a story of grief, courage, defiance, or healing. Created by designer Nazar Davydenko, the collection uses brass, silver, and found war materials to evoke visceral responses and memorialize a collective trauma.
Each piece serves as a talisman of Ukraine’s wartime identity -- 'The Last Dream' recalls the tenderness lost to brutality, while 'Tattoo"' transforms the inked skin of fallen soldiers into enduring marks of love and memory. 'This is how we live. This is how we fight,' Davydenko says.
RBTNK strengthens its position as a culturally conscious brand that transcends fashion. The project not only reinforces national identity but also elevates Ukrainian design on the global stage through art, activism, and storytelling.
