Truepill Announces the Launch of New At-Home Health Testing Service

Truepill, a digital pharmacy startup based out of California, has announced the launch of two new business services: a virtual primary care platform and an at-home diagnostic testing service. The company has been piloting its 'Virtual Primary Care' service for quite some time and has already garnered an average of 50,000 primary care telehealth visits a week.

Truepill's new at-home diagnostics service is being developed in an effort to expand its business beyond telehealth visits. In order to launch the platform, the company partnered with a variety of certified laboratories and has since built an impressive catalog of more than 100 different at-home test kit options.

"Combining diagnostic testing with telehealth and prescription delivery unlocks exponential possibilities in digital healthcare, including the diagnosis and management of chronic disease states, more effective care for vulnerable populations, reinvented preventive care and more," explained Truepill co-founder and president Sid Viswanathan in a recent interview.
