Tomatin Launches a 16 Year Old Scotch Whiskey for Travel Retail

Highland whiskey distillery Tomatin has announced that it will be expanding its global travel retail range by introducing a new exclusive 16-Year-Old single malt Scotch Whiskey. The 700ml bottling contains a 46% ABV and was aged in Portuguese Moscatel wine barriques.

The new expression delivers a rich flavor profile consisting of sun-dried fruits, orange marmalade, dark chocolate, and fresh ginger while boasting a long and waxy finish. The whiskey will join Tomatin's other travel retail offerings which include eight-year-old, 12-year-old, 21-year-old, and 40-year-old bottlings.

"We are constantly striving to push the boundaries within our portfolio and our global travel retail range is no exception. The distinctive cask maturation of this 16-Year-Old expression is an impressive and welcome addition to the range," said Tomatin Sales Director Graham Nicolson
