Tequila Ocho Launches its 'Reposado Barrel Select Widow Jane 2022'

Tequila Ocho introduces its ‘Reposado Barrel Select Widow Jane 2022,’ a limited edition tequila crafted in Brooklyn at Widow Jane Distillery for eight weeks and eight days. The spirit utilizes overripe grapes harvested from Rancho El Nacimiento, a field owned by Carlos Camarena and his family, and transforms them in order to provide aromas of rich caramel and baking spice notes from the distillery’s Widow Jane bourbon barrels. The spirit is additive-free and best enjoyed neat.

Tequila Ocho Co-Founder Carlos Camarena commented: "This limited edition reposado reflects Ocho’s philosophy on agave-forward tequila by showcasing the terroir of the agave used, while bringing some notes of vanilla, oak and caramel from the Widow Jane barrels to create a pleasant and well-balanced spirit. I am certain it will appeal to the palates of both tequila and whiskey aficionados."
