The Sol Reader Uses the Same Technology Found in eReaders

The Sol Reader is a newly designed wearable headset engineered with efficiency and comfort in mind to support the needs of avid readers. The headset features the same kind of technology found in conventional eReaders, which includes two front-lit E Ink displays that can be used for reading books or documents in any position. Featuring support for Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, the. headset works with a wireless controller for turning pages and more.

The Sol Reader is rated to provide up to 30-hours of use per charge thanks to the aforementioned E Ink displays that are inherently lower in power consumption than alternatives. The headset is expected to be available in the fall of 2023 when it's expected to retail for $350.
