Moen designed a version of the faucet without a handle called the Smart Faucet with Motion Control and it has been named a CES 2022 Innovation Awards Honoree. This next-generation smart faucet makes the most of touchless technology so that users can control the temperature and water flow with intuitive hand motions.
The simple faucet represents the newest innovation to join the Moen Smart Water Network and it responds to changing consumer behaviors and preferences. As Mark-Hans Richer, senior vice president, chief marketing and innovation officer, Fortune Brands Global Plumbing Group, says "Our research shows that our customers are increasingly choosing to operate their Smart Faucets by using the hands-free sensor, in addition to the voice-activation feature."
