'Pivot' released a new-and-improved version of its popular 'Shuttle' mountain bike titled the 'Shuttle SL.' This iteration brings a number of upgrades over the original, including reduced weight, increased battery capacity, upgraded suspension systems, and more.
The Pivot Shuttle SL boasts a full carbon frame that brings the total weight of the bike up to 36 pounds. As for the motor, Pivot included a Fazua Ride 60 that delivers up to 450W of power and 60Nm of torque. The motor is supplied by a 430kWh battery pack, meaning the bike can travel for approximately one hour before needing to charge.
As the Pivot Shuttle SL is a full-scale mountain bike, the e-bike includes a number of attractive off-roading features. First and foremost, the Shuttle SL has a full 132mm suspension. On top of this, the connected display on the bike has built-in safety features such as a GPS and a number of indicators for metrics such as battery life and speed.
