'Patrol,' the Ohio-based mountain bike manufacturer, announced the 'E-Seven,' a lightweight, full-suspension electric mountain bike. The E-Seven has a lightweight carbon fiber frame that allows it to be easily carried, easily walked uphill, or conveniently stored on a car rack.
Patrol's E-Seven promises to deliver a smooth riding experience to new and experienced riders as it features a 250-watt motor, a 630-Wh battery, and a Fox 38 E suspension fork. This is a full-size suspension with 7-inches of travel, easily enough to provide a comfortable off-roading experience. The experience is improved further by the bicycle's 27.5-inch-tall, 2.5-inch-wide tires that are designed for use both on and off the tarmac.
Lastly, Patrol implemented a convenient failsafe on the E-Seven, a derailleur hanger that will break under extreme stress in order to save the remaining components of the e-mountain bike.
