This Industrial Robot Can Carry Heavy Weights and Jump High Distances

Unitree, a Chinese company that specializes in robotics, has launched its latest and greatest quadruped robot in the form of the 'B2,' a robotic canine that well and truly represents a leap forward in comparison to its predecessor, the 'B1' robot.

The 'B2' is a quadruped robot that is capable of running at a speed of six meters per second, allowing Unitree to issue the claim that this is in fact the fastest industrial-grade quadruped robot available on the market. What's more, the robot can leap 1.6 meters and step over objects up to 40 cm high. It's also capable of carrying a load of 120 kg when stationary and 40 kg whilst walking.

The robot is fitted with an array of tech amenities including HD cameras, depth-sensing cameras and LiDAR capability.
