Meta's Quest Avatars Get a Slew of More Inclusive Detail

Meta is launching its software update v57 for its Quest headsets and simultaneously, the Quest Avatar customization also has new angles. The avatars help users create a character that represents who they are with a plethora of tonal options for hair and eyebrows to name a few.

Now, users can accurately select their avatar's skin tone, apply makeup and face paint on their avatars in specific colors, and more. The new update also allows unsending of messages in virtual reality and on the Meta Quest mobile app for more control. When users hover over the image in the VP world, they can click the app and see the option to "Unsend a message.' Both parties will notably get a notification that a message has been deleted.
