LAYER and Prostoria Join Forces on a Capsule Together

Design studio LAYER works in collaboration with furniture imprint Prostoria to design two sofa systems that are centered on the concept of function and utility. The designs are made to be modular, with contemporary purposes to work from home with ease. It includes the ROSTRUM and the SABOT, which both are made for different layouts.

The ROSTRUM has slim legs at the foundation with an elevated framework for a lightweight look. The SABOT is named after a wooden shoe, which is meant to honor the roots of Prostoria as it started off as a woodworking label. This created a connection so that when it is brought together, it creates a welcoming large shape for comfortable seating.
