Papa John’s and La Vie partnered to bring a vegan pizza to the UK market that responds to increasing consumer interest in alternative food options that maintain a free-from recipe. The pizza is crafted with Papa John's signature dough topped with mushrooms, peppers, red onions and black olives alongside La Vie's plant-based meat alternatives including vegan ham, spicy jackfruit pepperoni and Sheese. The Hawaiian-style vegan pizza will be added to the Vegan Works lineup at Papa John's for customers to pick up for £12 for a large.
Senior Director of International Culinary R&D Adam Wilcock commented on the Papa John’s and La Vie pizza saying, "Our partnership with La Vie is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to innovation and quality, pushing the boundaries of what vegan pizza can be to reward the devotion of our fans."
