Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is a comprehensive remake of the 2002 platformer Pac-Man World 2, developed by NOW PRODUCTION and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game is scheduled for release on September 26, 2025, and will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Re-Pac retains the core narrative of Pac-Man’s quest to recover the stolen Golden Fruit from the ghost king Spooky, while delivering modernized graphics, expanded level designs, and an updated hub area known as Pac-Village.
The remake introduces several enhancements over the original, including full voice acting, quality-of-life improvements such as refined camera controls, and new movement options like flutter jump and butt-bounce. Players can revisit familiar environments—ranging from icy peaks and lava-filled volcanoes to underwater stages—and encounter redesigned boss battles. The game also features additional collectibles and customization options, and for the first time in the series, a two-player couch co-op mode. Digital pre-orders are available in Standard and Deluxe editions, with the Deluxe edition offering collaboration sets, bonus costumes, and in-game figures as pre-order incentives.
