This Proudly Washingtonian IPA is Designed For Outdoor Enjoyment

Pike Brewing, which has established itself as a longest continuously running independent craft brewery in Washington State, launched a delicious new Northwest IPA in the form of 'Mountains Out.'

This delectable Northwest IPA makes use of purely Washingtonian ingredients, which speak to its character and influence. Inspired by the mountains and outdoor exploration, this particular IPA makes use of Mosaic, Simcoe and Azacca Hopes, and also makes use of oats and opera pilsner as the base, with the addition of Purple Egyptian, Gazelle Rye and Elwha Spelt grain adding a delicious character to the brew.

Coming in at an ABV of seven percent, this beer is said to offer strong notes of pine, tangerine and lime peels.

"Mountains Out is a classic Northwest IPA and perfect to take on outdoor excursions," said Leslie Shore, head brewer at Pike Brewing. "Staying in? This beer will keep you company with hop notes of citrus, berry, and flowers and the lingering finish will have you dreaming of hiking in the mountains and enjoying the first flowers of spring."
