Moonwake Brewery Has Launched a Canned Chocolatey Beer

'Moonwake Brewery' the Edinburgh-based artisan beer brewer from English and New Zealander founders, has launched the 'Moonwake Baltic Porter.' Inspired by the recent popularity of porter variations, Moonwake sought to popularize the Baltic Porter, which is a dark, rich, smooth, and less-fruity variant of standard porters.

The Moonwake Baltic Porter incorporates toffee, chocolate, and hops to create a strong, smooth, and sweet beer. This beer places a larger emphasis on rich tastes than on the dark bitterness of standard porters. Moonwake has stated that this porter pairs best with rich red meats and spiced desserts such as cinnamon pies.

This Baltic Porter is available for purchase on Moonwake's website in individual cans for approximately $5.50 USD or in boxes of eight cans for roughly $40 USD.
