Monaco Cocktails, a new line of RTD canned cocktails owned by Atomic Brands, has announced the launch of its newest flavor: Watermelon Crush.
Released just in time for summer, this warm-weather-inspired flavor combines premium tequila with fresh watermelon to deliver a refreshing cocktail beverage appropriate for nearly any occasion. Like Moncao Cocktails' other flavors, Watermelon Crush contains two shots of alcohol -- in this case, tequila -- per 12 ounce can. As a result, the beverages deliver a 9% ABV, which is slightly higher than typical canned cocktails.
"With tequila remaining one of the fastest-growing liquor categories and watermelon positioned as one of the most beloved fruits in America, the opportunity is ripe to introduce the ultimate mashup of these refreshing, on-trend flavors," said Don Deubler, CEO of Atomic Brands.
