The Mezcal Reina Ready-to-Drink Cocktails Come in Two Recipes

These new Mezcal Reina ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails have been developed by the brand in response to consumer shifts towards convenience-led alcohol products that are crafted with a bar-grade recipe.

The canned cocktails come in two options including the Paloma and the Mezcalita, which are each made with the brand's Espadín expression. The drinks are launching in the UK with the Paloma coming in with an 8.5% ABV, while the Mezcalita has a 10% ABV with both offering an effervescent profile perfect for summertime consumption. The cocktails each contain no artificial sweeteners or preservatives and are launching in the UK in four-packs for £20 or individual cans for £4.99.

Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer Monica Torroella commented on the Mezcal Reina cocktails saying, "The development process for the Mezcal Reina Mezcalita and Paloma took nearly two years – firstly because it’s important to find the right production partners aligned with our values. And secondly, because with the fresh citrus and authentic mezcal that we’re using, you need to ensure complete stability in the canned material. We’ve achieved that and know that our cans are perfect for preserving flavour quality and product integrity over time."
