Marcy Arimoto Designs the New iPhone Case Inspired by Paper Folding

Marcy Arimoto designs a new Apple Magsafe phone grip that is inspired by the art of Japanese paper folding with its dynamic structure. The three-dimensional design is made from a flat sheet to be easily assembled and disassembled as needed. This technique saves space and is versatile to reduce unnecessary parts.

When it is folded outwards, it functions as a stand. The attachment is the size of a card and sticks to the back of the phone easily with its thin design. Due to the Magsafe technology, it is able to attach easily and hold weights up to 500g even when stuck on any magnetic mount, fridge, or car door. Additionally, the hole in the middle of the stand has a place for the user's fingers to securely hold their phone.
