Cannondale, a Connecticut-based bicycle brand that is owned by none other than the Netherlands-based mobility conglomerate Pon Holdings, has launched its first ever cargo ebike in the form of the 'Cargowagen Neo.'

This particular cargo ebike can be obtained with the purchaser's choice of Bosch PowerPack between 725-Wh or 545 Wh, with the Bosch motor allowing for 45 km/h of pedal assistance and just over 62 pounds-feet of torque. Other high-tech riding features include walk assist which makes it easier to move the bike on foot, not to mention anti-rollback protection.

This cargo ebike is capable of carrying up to 80 kg of cargo and can be obtained with added seating capable of carrying up to two small children.

Set to be priced at $4,300, the 'Cargowagen Neo' combines reliable pedal assistance, safe riding features and cargo-hauling capabilities in a low-step frame format that makes it easy and accessible.
