The new Liquid I.V. Sugar-Free range is making its debut in the UK in response to increasing consumer demand for zero-sugar beverage options with a functional twist.
The electrolyte powder mix is formulated with eight vitamins and minerals to help support optimal everyday hydration as well as energy and immunity. The drink mix will also help to reduce feelings of fatigue related to hydration, while also helping with physical and mental performance. The drink mixes come in two flavors including Mango Pineapple and White Peach.
R&D Nutritional Science Senior Manager Alexa Abdelaziz, PhD commented on the new Liquid I.V. Sugar-Free range saying, "Sugar plays an important role in how our bodies absorb water. If you simply cut it out, you could lose some of the rehydration potential. When developing the Sugar-Free range, we knew we needed an ingredient that could still enable enhanced water absorption. Our amino acid blend is a powerful alternative for sugar’s role in water absorption/ hydration, and rigorous testing shows it’s highly effective at aiding absorption in the small intestine."
