Huckleberry Uses AI to Help Parents Improve Their Child's Sleep

Huckleberry is an innovative technology platform that combines artificial technology, data science, and the advice of pediatric sleep experts, to offer parents of 5-month to 5-year-olds custom sleep plans to help optimize their child's sleep.

At the end of 2021, the company was able to raise $12.5 million in Series A funding led by Morningside Ventures, Tamarsis VC, and Spero Ventures. With the new funding, Huckleberry plans to invest further in data-driven solutions in areas including sleep, feeding, and tantrums.

A key feature of the Huckleberry app is 'SweetSpot,' a real-time predictive algorithm that is able to analyze a child's sleep patterns and compare them to hundreds of millions of data points to recommend parents the ideal nap times for their children.

"Huckleberry has shown that the combination of machine learning and pediatric expertise applied to early childhood development results in simple, effective tools that positively impact both children and caregivers," said Stephen Bruso of Morningside Ventures
